The Rockets had a strong showing in the new KRC Preview meet. The Racing Rockets tied for first on the girls side, but got edged out by Woodstock based on the finishing position of the 6th girl. The boys won the meet with 38 points. It was a hot one and all of the Rockets pushed through the heat and recorded excellent times. Scoring for the girls were Emma Langlois (3), Breanne Retherford (6), Amy Frisch (10), Gabby Ross (12), Nissa Lind (13), Audrey Orkild (26), Victoria Rockwell (34).
Scoring for the boys were: Nick Koschak (5) Ryan Hommowun (6), John Kellum (7) **Who was racing injured after getting bit by a dog the day before!!, Nick DeGroot (8), Chris Williams (12), and Thomas Koschak (13).
