Richmond-Burton defeated Woodstock 4-3 on penalty kicks in the teams' season and Kishwaukee River Conference opener.
Angelica Mrugala scored two first-half goals for R-B, both assisted by Breanne Retherford, and Gabby Ross scored unassisted in the second half. In the penalty shootout, R-B got goals from Ross, Sarah Kitterman, Taylor Webb and Camryn Davis.
Lindsy Restis made seven saves for R-B.
