Senior K.C. Davids led the Richmond-Burton girls basketball team to a season-opening victory over Round Lake, 46-33, with 15 points and a 7-of-8 performance from the free-throw line Thursday at the Wauconda Tournament.
Anna Vlasak added 11 points for R-B (1-0), Kayla Malec had seven points and Mackenzie Hahn had five. Brooke Legnaioli added a 3-pointer for the Rockets.
