Richmond-Burton’s Hunter Volkmar shot a 93 at Bull Valley Golf Club to lead the Rockets in Thursday’s Woodstock Invitational. Connor Lindley shot a 94, Everett Robinson carded a 96 and Jackson Bolman (99) also broke 100 to round out the Rockets’ team score.
Richmond-Burton finished 11th overall in the 14-team tournament with a team score of 382. Lake Forest won the tournament with a 318, led by top-finishing individual Danny Fisher (75).
The hosting Woodstock Co-op was led by Evan Bridges, who shot an 87. Jack Cunningham shot a 105, Kenna Miles shot a 108, and Brandon Gulli, Lynsie Pietrzak and Ki Norgard all shot 110. (NWHerald 8/17/17
