Johnsburg 2, Richmond-Burton 0: At Johnsburg, Abby Wemple recorded 15 kills, six digs and two blocks to lead the Skyhawks to a 27-25, 25-19 Kishwaukee River Conference sweep against the Rockets.
Adisyn Illg had 25 assists and 12 digs for Johnsburg (23-6, 10-1 KRC), Alex Arber had six kills and six digs, and Morgan Madsen added five blocks. Kimmy Hammond added 18 digs, Megan Madsen had two blocks and Gillian Battaglia had three kills for Johnsburg.
Kayla Malec had nine kills and three blocks for R-B (16-14, 7-4), Abby Svenson had 13 digs and four kills, and Bailey Dean had 20 assists.
The Skyhawks host Burlington Central at 6 p.m. Thursday for the outright KRC championship.
